Descriptif auteur
Née à Angoulême en Charente, Isabelle Rigolo vit une quinzaine d'années à Paris. Puis part vivre en Pennsylvanie, aux États-Unis où son envie d'écrire s'affirme et se développe. Avec en 2011, la parution d'un premier roman "L'endroit où il y a des rapides". Puis en 2015, d'un recueil de chroniques "Quand on embrasse, on ne met pas les mains". Vient ensuite sa participation au festival du livre à Thénac, en mars 2016. Puis une lecture publique de ce recueil de chroniques, à la maison des auteurs de la SACD, en 2017. Prochainement une séance de signature est organisée à West Chester, Pennsylvanie, le vendredi 2 Novembre 2018.

Cultural differences that the author could embrace when moving to the US 9 years ago. A series of anecdotes reflecting with humor the daily reality, challenges sometimes that one can face when exposed to another culture, far from being what was expected. 28 short stories, in French, all from real-life experience, funny and moving, sweet and inspiring.
